Private Assets SE & Co. KGaA intends to acquire the French manufacturer of metal components Esvres Matriçage

Hamburg, 05 July 2024: Private Assets SE & Co. KGaA (Private Assets) entered in exclusive discussions about the acquisition of Esvres Matriçage S.A.S. (Esvres Matriçage), a traditional manufacturer of copper and brass forgings. Founded in 1919 in Esvres sur Indre, France, the company mainly supplies the electrical industry, e.g. for transmission networks and installation technology, and occasionally the automotive sector. The seller is Bons & Evers (NL). Subject to certain conditions, the transaction is expected to be finalised in the coming month and after realization of all legal obligations. This could be Private Assets' third foreign location and the second company in France. Private Assets first opened an office in France in September 2023. 

Esvres Matriçage specialises in the forging, CNC processing and surface treatment of metal components and has an annual turnover of around EUR 10 million. Its customers are mainly located in Europe. A team of engineers supports customers in optimising the end products right from the development and design stage. Esvres Matriçage has production facilities for different quantities.
